Marc Boudreau, Industrial Designer, and Jambette Playground Equipment, park equipment manufacturer, earned the prestigious Canadian Award in the Industrial Design category.  At a ceremony held in Toronto, the innovative talents of the best participants were rewarded.  The “Xyrä”, created in cooperation with Mr. Boudreau and Jambette, distinguished itself with a silver award in its category.

The event held on 9 November 2009 in Toronto was intended for all Canadian designers and architects.

This award confirms that the Xyrä, which was designed over a period of two years by a team of five people, represents a revolution in the playground equipment industry. In fact, it calls on an original approach and uses unconventional shapes and materials.  The Xyrä even has an electronic module to create an ambiance in the dark through a series of LEDs.

In fact, this different project heralds the future.
